Body lotion without a preservative?
Body lotion either needs a preservative or it needs to be refrigerated to preserve its efficacy and shelf-life. We’re not fans of either of those options, so we found an even better solution – silver!
While a lot of preservatives are artificial, silver isn’t. It’s completely safe and is even anti-viral, anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial. So, that means our body lotion contains no artificial ingredients AND it doesn’t have to be refrigerated. Because who wants to rub cold lotion on their body? Or apply artificial preservatives to their body’s largest organ? We sure don’t!

Does this body lotion work well as a face moisturizer?
While you can use this lotion on your face, you may find it a little too heavy and greasy to be used on your face due to the ultra moisturizing shea butter.
What is the preservative in the body lotion and why does it need a preservative?
We use a patented silver technology that has undergone rigorous scientific review. Silver Sol is composed only of elemental silver and deionized water, and thus retains the characteristic properties of silver found in colloidal silver. Silver is also antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal.
All lotions need a preservative or to be kept refrigerated to prevent mold and bacteria growth. We typically use vitamin E as a preservative in our beauty products but it just isn’t strong enough for a tube of lotion, so we use Silver Sol instead.
How many oz are in a tube of body lotion?
Each tube of body lotion contains 3.4 oz of lotion.
Do I need a body lotion or the Just Ingredients Serum?
Serum is food for the skin to nourish from within by penetrating deep into the pores. Body lotion does not fully penetrate like that. It’s a protective barrier for the skin. The two products make for a dynamic duo when used on the body.
